Mileage and MOT

MOT, from the government's MOT records (DVSA, the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency), as of 2 November 2026: valid until 10 May 2027.

It failed its MOT on 7 May 2026 (offside rear outer brake pad(s) less than 1.5 mm thick; offside front tyre has ply or cords exposed outer edge, marked with chalk) and passed 4 days later, on 11 May 2026.

Advisories at the latest test: offside rear tyre slightly damaged/cracking or perishing cracking in tread pattern (205/55/16, 91V); nearside rear tyre slightly damaged/cracking or perishing.

Mileage at that test: 47,449 miles. The advert says 10,000 miles, fewer than the MOT record, so ask the dealer which is right.

Advertised mileage is about 67,900 miles lower than the median mileage of a 2016 Mercedes-Benz A Class on AskCar.
