Mileage and MOT

MOT, from the government's MOT records (DVSA, the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency), as of 6 November 2026: the latest record we hold ran out on 31 July 2026; ask the dealer for the current MOT.

It failed its MOT on 12 August 2026 (nearside front lower suspension arm ball joint excessively worn; nearside rear tyre tread depth below requirements of 1.6mm) and passed 5 days later, on 17 August 2026.

Advisories at the latest test: rear sub-frame corroded but not seriously weakened; nearside rear coil spring corroded; offside rear coil spring corroded; and 4 more.

Mileage at that test: 86,899 miles. The advert says 86,000 miles, fewer than the MOT record, so ask the dealer which is right.

Advertised mileage is about 3,000 miles lower than the median mileage of a 2005 Mercedes-Benz C Class on AskCar.
