Mileage and MOT

MOT, from the government's MOT records (DVSA, the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency), as of 5 November 2026: the latest record we hold ran out on 19 October 2026; ask the dealer for the current MOT.

It has had 9 MOTs. The latest, on 12 October 2026, failed.

It failed on: nearside rear wheel bearing play so excessive that directional control is impaired; offside rear wheel bearing play so excessive that directional control is impaired; nearside front lower suspension arm ball joint dust cover no longer prevents the ingress of dirt.

Advisories at the latest test: offside front lower suspension arm pin or bush worn but not resulting in excessive movement; nearside rear tyre worn close to legal limit/worn on edge; offside rear tyre worn close to legal limit/worn on edge.

Mileage at that test: 186,431 miles. The advert says 10,000 miles, fewer than the MOT record, so ask the dealer which is right.

Advertised mileage is about 66,000 miles lower than the median mileage of a 2016 Mercedes-Benz C Class on AskCar.
