Mileage and MOT

MOT, from the government's MOT records (DVSA, the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency), as of 5 November 2026: the latest record we hold ran out on 24 July 2026; ask the dealer for the current MOT.

It has had 10 MOTs. The latest, on 5 October 2026, failed.

It failed on: exhaust emissions exceed manufacturer's specified limit; front windscreen wiper does not clear the windscreen effectively; exhaust diesel particulate filter shows evidence of tampering; and 3 more.

Advisories at the latest test: oil leak, but not excessive various locations; offside front upper anti-roll bar linkage ball joint dust cover severely deteriorated; front play in steering rack inner joint(s) both N/S/F and O/S/F; and 2 more.

Mileage at that test: 88,725 miles. The advert says 88,000 miles, fewer than the MOT record, so ask the dealer which is right.

Advertised mileage is about 13,000 miles higher than the median mileage of a 2016 Nissan X-Trail on AskCar.
