Fair price: £483 (3%) over the AskCar estimate of £13,812.

The AskCar estimate is our expected asking price for this car. It uses UK dealer asking prices, accounting for make, model, trim, version, age, mileage, fuel, gearbox, body type, driven wheels, engine size and power. It is an advertised price, not a confirmed sale price.

It draws on 3,888 priced Renault Clio adverts across different ages and specifications, as of 4 November 2026.

Mileage and MOT

MOT, from the government's MOT records (DVSA, the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency), as of 4 November 2026: valid until 12 November 2026.

It failed its MOT on 4 November 2025 (nearside headlamp aim too high; nearside front tyre has a cut in excess of the requirements deep enough to reach the ply or cords) and passed later the same day.

Advisories at the latest test: nearside rear child seat fitted not allowing full inspection of adult belt.

Mileage at that test: 27,548 miles. The advert says 12,609 miles, fewer than the MOT record, so ask the dealer which is right.

Advertised mileage is about 27,400 miles lower than the median mileage of a 2020 Renault Clio on AskCar.
