Mileage and MOT

MOT, from the government's MOT records (DVSA, the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency), as of 5 November 2026: the latest record we hold ran out on 19 September 2026; ask the dealer for the current MOT.

It failed its MOT on 16 September 2025 (nearside rear stop lamp(s) not working; offside rear stop lamp(s) not working; offside rear registration plate lamp inoperative in the case of a single lamp or all lamps; and 2 more) and passed later the same day.

Advisories at the latest test: front headlamp has a product on the lens but not seriously reducing light output both; nearside rear coil spring corroded; offside rear coil spring corroded; and 3 more.

Mileage at that test: 70,680 miles. The advert says 70,000 miles, fewer than the MOT record, so ask the dealer which is right.

Advertised mileage is about 3,800 miles lower than the median mileage of a 2012 Toyota Yaris on AskCar.
