Mileage and MOT

MOT, from the government's MOT records (DVSA, the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency), as of 7 November 2026: the latest record we hold ran out on 20 July 2026; ask the dealer for the current MOT.

It failed its MOT on 26 June 2025 (nearside front outer drive shaft joint constant velocity boot split or insecure, no longer prevents the ingress of dirt; offside front steering rack gaiter missing or no longer prevents the ingress of dirt) and passed 25 days later, on 21 July 2025.

Advisories at the latest test: nearside front tyre has a cut but not deep enough to reach the ply or cords.

Mileage at that test: 22,995 miles, which matches the advertised 23,200 miles.

Advertised mileage is about 24,200 miles lower than the median mileage of a 2020 Volkswagen Golf on AskCar.
