It draws on 8,370 priced Volkswagen Polo adverts across different ages and specifications, as of 6 November 2026.

Mileage and MOT

MOT, from the government's MOT records (DVSA, the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency), as of 6 November 2026: the latest record we hold ran out on 13 March 2026; ask the dealer for the current MOT.

It has had 17 MOTs. The latest, on 15 October 2025, failed.

It failed on: exhaust lambda reading after 2nd fast idle outside specified limits; nearside rear service brake excessively binding; offside rear service brake excessively binding; and 1 more.

Advisories at the latest test: nearside front suspension arm corroded but not seriously weakened.

Mileage at that test: 106,655 miles. The advert says 106,000 miles, fewer than the MOT record, so ask the dealer which is right.

Advertised mileage is about 37,700 miles higher than the median mileage of a 2014 Volkswagen Polo on AskCar.
