It draws on 8,332 priced Volkswagen Polo adverts across different ages and specifications, as of 5 November 2026.

A 2016 Volkswagen Polo with the 1.0 petrol engine is typically advertised at £7,000: the median of the 147 for sale on AskCar, as of 5 November 2026.

Mileage and MOT

MOT, from the government's MOT records (DVSA, the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency), as of 5 November 2026: valid until 9 August 2027.

It failed its MOT on 10 August 2026 (offside front track rod end ball joint has excessive play; nearside front suspension arm pin or bush excessively worn; offside front suspension arm pin or bush excessively worn; and 1 more) and passed later the same day.

Advisories at the latest test: under trays fitted; exhaust corroded; front brake disc worn, pitted or scored, but not seriously weakened both.

Mileage at that test: 51,390 miles. The advert says 50,000 miles, fewer than the MOT record, so ask the dealer which is right.

Advertised mileage is about 15,900 miles lower than the median mileage of a 2016 Volkswagen Polo on AskCar.
